Hi, I’m Aaron!
I’m a photographer in Melbourne’s south-east, mostly shooting B'nai Mitzvahs, family celebrations, and community events. Calm, unobtrusive, and there for the bits you would have missed.
Don’t worry about pronouncing my Polish last name. Zajonc has tripped up better people than you.
This is my family. Alex, Harry, Sonny and little Frankie (RIP) who was a social media influencer back in the day.
I photograph simchas the way I’d want someone to photograph ours. Quiet when the room needs it. Close enough when the hora’s lift off or when a grandparent’s face changes during an emotive part of a speech.
Families tend to have me back. Over a third of my leads are repeat clients!
Since October 7th I’ve also been photographing and helping organisations in our community. The Holocaust Museum, UIA (United Israel Appeal), MDA (Magen David Adom), Courage to Care, WIZO. (Women's International Zionist Organisation), and others. That work sits alongside the celebrations. Same camera. Same job: be present, stay out of the way, come home with the pictures that matter.
If you’re planning a B'nai Mitzvah, a family milestone, or a community event, get in touch. Dates can book out well over a year ahead. No pressure — just a conversation.
